  • THE RESULT

The bicycle came out just as planned, a white frame, black trim and black and white wheels.
  • THE ORIGINALS

Toghether with a friend (and classmate) Jan van Haaren I accuired two bicycleframes. We set ourselves the project of redesigning them to a stylish new look.
  • PREPPING

All unnecessary trim was removed from the bike to get a very clean look and feel.
  • CLEANING

The quest for a clean look made we had to sand of the whole frame, get rid of any paint residue since the original paint was weathered very badly.
  • WORKING TOGETHER

Jan and me kept working together a lot, because, well frankly, because this is a lot more fun.
  • SEVERAL LAYERS OF PAINT

The now cleaned bikes need a lot of layers of paint for protection of the steel and for aesthetic purposes.
  • PAINTING THE TRIM

I chose white for the frame of my bicycle, the other trim was painted black for a maximum contrast.
